Dry Brushing 2020 Beauty Trend

Image
healthline.com In the latest, beauty trends come the dry brushing and all the techniques and beauty benefits. Dry brushing has been around for a very long time and has been long used for medical, homeopathic, and Ayurveda techniques. But it has gone from health & wellness into the beauty department full force. People do have very serious conditions, including cancer, in which this treatment is used. They receive these types of massage as well as dry brushing that relate to the human lymphatic system and drainage of it. These are never cosmetic and performed by highly skilled technicians and should never be confused with the beauty department, but here we are. Treatments Treatments for serious medical conditions do include things like massage and dry brushing, but these are truly for the health of the patient and not for the "beauty of it". The patients actually have the treatments done to encourage the drainage of their Lymphatic system. Beauty Depart...

Making A Homemade Mask For Covid19

Image
As of April 3, 2020, the CDC and other agencies announced that it is possible to spread or received the coronavirus (Covid19) by simple conversation as the "droplets" of an infected/carrier/Asymptomatic person may become airborne. However, it is NOT a known way of transmission, do not panic over this. But as a result of this though, the agency is telling us for OUR protection or to bolster our own personal protection, that we may use a mask of a woven nature (i.e. like cotton). This can help us. Please see the guidelines below: From the CDC • A DIY mask, while not as effective as an N95 mask, still offers some protection from respiratory droplets that spread the virus. • Fabric that is 100% cotton is comparable to surgical masks & shows effectiveness. • If you can’t make your own mask, the CDC suggests covering your mouth and nose with a scarf or bandanna. • These masks aren’t going to fully protect you from coronavirus. You should still be ...

Chaffles: Mini Keto Waffles and Dash Mini Waffle Maker Review

Image
Finished homemade chaffles I'm jumping on board, I'm part of the Chaffle train!  I first found out about chaffles on my keto journey when I followed a keto chef that showed us how to make chaffles to use instead of bread. Lack Of Bread On the keto lifestyle, the elimination of bread is huge in order to have success with it. I can only speak for myself, but I was always missing bread. To be clear I was never that "big" on bread anyway, but I guess I was missing the sandwich as we traditionally know it. I am very creative in my use of inventing food type recipes that mimicked 2 slices of bread to make me feel like I had just eaten a sandwich. A lot of them were decent, yet still missing the texture and "feel" of bread. Enter The Chaffle and The Chaffle Recipe Heaven happened that day the chaffle entered my life! It turns out that the recipe was way simpler than making a loaf of bread ever could be. Now there are many variations to the basic ...

Desk Organizer Dollar Tree Craft

Image
I used these frames and this glue I put together a very easy craft that is super affordable and is quick to make This came as a result of my efforts to organize my house. My desk is always a mess, though I did try to keep things that were alike in piles.  It was a super hot mess! I had just finished cleaning my closet out and spotted the desk across the room, and I realized, "wow that desk is an ugly mess." I went to the Dollar Tree store to purchase Easter baskets for my grandkids and I spotted the clear plastic free standing picture frames, I thought I had seen another blogger at one time make an organizer out of them, but I couldn't remember who to credit. I quickly arranged them on the shelf and I knew it would work. I decided on just three of them, although, I think you could use four or even five of them in a row. I lined them up on the counter this is just before I glued them As you can see I lined them up, just to make sure I liked the arrangement a...

What is a Magnet Mask and Are They Safe

Image
Dr. Brandt Magnetight Mask I write this article today, not as a review, although I will give a review during this article, this comes after several email questions regarding specific minerals that are used in skincare. As consumers, we should know that outside of generally accepted type ingredients, there are no regulations for much of the cosmetic industry. I know I have also encouraged readers to make sure that they are looking at the ingredients labels as well. While there is certainly a public outcry for regulation, the cosmetic industry does try hard to regulate things themselves. The industry does also knows that consumers are also wanting clean and green things as ingredients as much as possible. The cosmetic industry is certainly realizing that in order to be a successful brand, they not only have to keep their "tried and true" best sellers as well as introducing new and trending ideas and ingredients. Magnetic Masks Magnetic masks use this goopy and ...
