Zip Top Reusable Containers Imposter Stealing Idea

Image
On 10/22/18 I did a quick article on a type of reusable containers called the Zip Top Reusable Containers. See my post from 10/22/18     ttps://www.blogger.com/blogger.g?blogID=8161482431306553575#editor/target=post;postID=70745709996059118;onPublishedMenu=allposts;onClosedMenu=allposts;postNum=11;src=postname At any rate, it has come to my attention that there people who are impersonating this lovely company that I fully endorsed with my Kickbooster!   There is only one true Zip Top /reusable Container company, https://ziptop.co/ This is the only place to get them. The imposter company is stealing credit card/identity information from people. Please make sure this Christmas season and all through the rest of the year that you only give information and make purchases through safe sites. It is unfortunate each year, especially during Christmas, when people have open hearts and want to give gifts to loved ones and then one hears of these type scams and it ruins people

It's Christmas Decorating Time

Image
The tree is up. Now that Thanksgiving is officially over, it's time for us to get ready for Christmas. I don't know about your house but we dress our house up, which includes the mantle, the Christmas trees, and the outside. The hardest part is dragging everything up from the nether regions of the basement dungeon. I hope everyone has a built-in teenager that will substitute for the moving men that are needed to make this all happen, and thank goodness I do! I'm going to do a little mini-series on decor and small crafts that are not only easy but inexpensive and make a huge impact. I am slowly taking my decorating to a lower level. My time is always limited and I will be culling my decorations this year and I will be donating some of the things that I no longer need. I'm trying to make my life easier and that of my husband's too. My 9-foot tree is currently up in the front, one set of lights are out. This weekend, my husband the official light fixer, wi

Source: Pinterest Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and just in case you're not ready and need a few pointers or tips on how to cook your turkey and maybe you got some of the basic ideas confused, I hope I can help you here. People roast, grill, deep fry, and even rotisserie a turkey, but no matter your Thanksgiving traditions there are helping individuals out there to help you. First and foremost the Turkey hotline knows anything and everything. They can help you determine what to do if your turkey is still frozen or the great ladies and gentleman that are manning the "The Turkey Talkline" can give you recipes, ideas about how to keep your turkey moist, and most likely are up to date on the latest punch lines surrounding the big turkey jokes, you can reach them here:                                                            1-800-butterball And here's just a list of a couple of very common tips: *Everyone needs to invest in a good meat thermometer. *A

Empowered Bracelets By Maya J and One of Oprah's Favorite Things

Image
It's gift giving time, and Oprah has just released her list of favorite things. So we swoon and I always pick my favorite things off that list that I might buy. Many things on Oprah's list are extravagant and some are just right. Here's just one thing I picked out that I may even gift myself to: https://www.amazon.com/Empowered-Maya-Bracelet-Yellow/dp/B07HNM1R12/ref=as_li_ss_tl?s=apparel&ie=UTF8&qid=1541687029&sr=1-1&nodeID=18190132011&psd=1&linkCode=sl1&ta               (highlight & click) Why Do I like Them Why I like these bracelets is right in the name, empowered.  I love everything about passing on gifts that help people, that inspire and give back. These do this in many ways. First, this is a family owned business for over thirty years. These bracelets are meant to be gifted to spread love, strength, and positivity. This is what this blog is about. The celebration of women, creating ways to lift

Flexicado An Avocado Slicer and Review

Image
I found a new gadget that I am truly enamored with, it's called the Flexicado by Chef'n. I bought it at a boutique type kitchen and housewares shop.  It is made out of a soft to the hand BPA free plastic that is flexible. You tighten your grip and it can be used with any size avocado! The plastic "blades" scrape evenly, and you get even slices of avocado in one single swoop! It cleans straight down to the peel and there is little to no waste or avocado left behind in the peel. After halving the avocado, remove the pit Came out great on the first attempt My avocado victims above were slightly ripe, so their consistency was slightly mushy, but you can get the idea. The avocados that I used were also a mini size, and you can see I had no difficulty squeezing the handle to insert the Flexicado. I thought this was an awesome little gadget and for us Keto people who eat an avocado a lot, we also waste them a lot (scooping with a spoon I often rip the p

Skeleton Bride Door Wreath

Image
Last minute Quickie decor change for my door.  I'm upcycling a really really old grapevine, that in its previous 100 other lives was so many other wreaths, this time was once a spring candle ring, I used it with two candles in the middle on a tablescape and it was really pretty. Spring wreath going Halloween Nothing in my house is EVER permanent, I try to find ways in which to recycle and be able to use even the smallest of things into something else. These flowers were stripped off and the wreath (14") is bare, (it once was brown but I spray painted it white for spring use) Bare wreath (I see that the vines are starting to become loose I will need the glue gun. Here are the supplies I'm using total cost  $5.25 (all items on sale) 1 simple bunch of black flowers, 2 bunches of black carnations with glitter on them, 2 fronds of purple glittered stems, one bow marked down to $2.00, a total find! and one skeleton bride. I simply began by cutting all of the bun
