Happy 4th of July I want to start out by wishing you a Happy Independence day! No matter how you spend it today, please be safe. Why does it get such a bad rap?  It is primarily because it is a commonly used product and an additive, and secondarily it is a man-made silicone polymer and it’s always listed alongside things like phthalates and triclosan.
