Korres Jasmine Shower Gel Review & Ingredients Discussed
Korres Jasmine Shower Gel Consumer Review
Why this review?
This product is being reviewed for readers to
highlight the label's natural ingredients and the transparency in which the company presents it on each of their labels.
A Bit About The Company
The Korres company is a Greek company with very
humble beginnings. They were founded in 1996 by a pharmacist named Georgios
Korres. The company produces beauty and grooming products for men and women.
The company bases its products on natural ingredients and they are also based
partially in homeopathy.
By 1988, the young Georgios was a pharmacology
student and was working in a homeopathy pharmacy. This is where the desire to
create beautiful and clean products began.
Although the company has been acquisition out by
the United States Investment fund Morgan Stanley (56%) and a Chinese company
named Profex (14%), Georgios still owns 30% of the company.
Formula Facts Initiative
In 2008, Korres launched the Formula Facts Initiative
to communicate with the consumer the percentage of each ingredient listed on
the product labels. Korres also tells the consumer what is also NOT in their
products. The company proved that beauty consumers do want products rich in
natural ingredients and way fewer chemicals.
Review
The Jasmine Bud is clean and freshly scented. It is
a nice thick clear gel, which goes a long way. It lathers very nicely and
washes away completely. It leaves behind soft hydrated skin with no greasy
residue or “scum”.
The Jasmine Shower Gel is considered 88% natural
ingredients. The bottle I reviewed was 8.45 ounces. It comes completely sealed
for integrity and the bottle is recyclable.
The ingredients are wheat proteins and Althea
extracts.
What’s NOT In It?
This formula is free from Mineral oil, petroleum, paraffin, silicone, parabens, propylene glycol, ethanolamines, PEG, ALES, synthetic dye, phthalates, polycyclic musks, retinol, and animal by-products.

vegans.
I give this product a full 5***** star endorsement
for great lather and consistency. For skin hydration and also for
light and clean scent and product ingredients and label transparency.
While this is not 100% “clean” this is sure a nice
step in the right direction!
The fewer chemicals the better, don’t you agree? Keep finding the beauty that can keep you feeling great about what you use.
