New Year Just Be You
A New Year, A New Just Be You
You’ve read just about everyone at this point and they’re all telling you to change! They advise you on how to change your attitude, how to change your weight, how to declutter your life and so on!
But instead of trying some new outlandish diet, or taking on a whole house Feng Shui, to not only declutter but find your center; try just being yourself.
Start by really setting a goal, not a resolution. I’m sure those clothes from 1980 are ugly, don’t fit and are most likely cluttering your closet, but since they’ve been there that long do you think this is what’s weighing you down or stopping you from your latest advancement at work?; most likely not.
We need to be truthful to ourselves because we know ourselves the best. We know if we procrastinate. We know if we can’t tackle large jobs. We do know the solutions, and that’s where we should begin.
We know that perhaps work requires another class of some sort to advance, so perhaps we need to take an online course to accomplish that.
Maybe we do want to clean the closets, instead of the whole house or apartment, why not be more reasonable and say just one closet at a time, and take it even further just the clothes, next time the accessories. This may even be too large of a job, for a few extra dollars hire someone (who’s not emotionally attached to the sweater mom gave you in your teens) who’ll go through your things with you or without with abandon and it will be done that day.

The point is, no one knows you better than you do. You know that the journaling you’ll do will last the week and then the journal will collect dust, so don’t disappoint yourself. Try another resource if keeping notes is your want-to-be- change. Check free online sources or perhaps an app on your phone will be enough for you.
Just be you. If you don’t think that getting fifty chores done by 5am will help you~ don’t try. Finding your center may well be just one hour of sitting quietly actually thinking. It may not be change you need at all, and it may just be enough motivation to take you to your next level.
So don’t freak because you don’t have a resolution because your biggest goal is to just find you.
