Monday Motivational

*Photo Credit: Ourmindfullife.com as seen on Pinterest* Oh Monday!!! (and every day actually, especially during Covid) motivation is sure needed. In the Monday reminders up above, the list reminds you of several things, the first is that no matter what it is that you need to tackle today...1. you CAN do it! This is a mindset that is sometimes hard to maintain; but having a good mindset will set the tone for the whole entire week. Know that our goals are sometimes excruciatingly hard to maintain and in that case, 2. You are ALLOWED to have a break. Overwhelmed will only create the feelings of failure and it will be difficult to get to the next level, or goal so by all means take a break. This could mean just taking a walk for a half hour or leaving it until the next day. 3. You do not have to please everyone. Which also translates into you have ONLY yourself to please. Period. Try to not get trapped into trying to please everyone around you. You cannot possibly be everywhere o

International Women's Day

Image
What Is International Women's Day It is a global day to celebrate social, economic, cultural acheivements of all women. It is about the coming together to witness, experience, lift-up, empower all those women that have come before us and those that will come after us to continue to break glass ceilings in the sciences, political, and any other area that truly believes it requires one specific gender to do its roles. We have seen this year alone, women who have had their political aspirations be reached, we have seen doctors and highly skilled scientists help assist a rocket to Mars and become the managing head to Govenmental agencies. We witnessed still, women in other countries receive pay for that is equal to that of the men in their countries and begin to drive, vote, and otherwise stand up and be counted. Whatever your thoughts on today's International Women's Day, let it be one in which you help the next women feel empowered, encouraged and filled with inspiration

World Food Program USA and #Pledge4moms

Image
I have been invited for the second year in a row to participate in a program that is global and charitable, and I am beside myself. This year The World Food Program recognized that since the coronvirus pandemic, there are many many homes across the world, including the United States, where hunger has become more of an issue or has made worse an already horrible issue;hunger. There are reasons of lost wages and sickness to name a few that has presented itself among the newest global issues of hunger. I took a stand to pledge for the ( #zerohungermission ) Zero Hunger Mission to help spread the word and donate to a very worthy cause. In many households it is the single mother raising children in these times of global pandemic, thus making it even harder to keep food on the table. What Motherhood Means To Me Motherhood to me means we bare children and then we raise them to be kind, happy, educated, and most of all but never last or least; fed and healthy. I am teaming up with

Clean Your Toothbrush Holder

Image
DID YOU KNOW? Did you know that most people overlook cleaning their toothbrush holder when they are cleaning their bathrooms? Did you know that toothbrush holders harbor a great breeding ground for bacteria? Photo Credit: businessinsider.com Many scientists have run tests and found out that your toothbrush and its holder can harbor over 100 million germs! In fact, it is among the the top ten in contanination in the bathroom! Some of the germs may be overall harmless but things like mold, yeast, staph., e-coli, and coliform are found and these can make you sick. There are very simple ways to remedy the problem. One needs to clean it. It has been recommended that the holder itself should be cleaned at least 3x per week. The Bacteria is air-born and we can't see it, and it can spread liberally around if not addressed. It's so easy to clean your toothbrush holder with these simpe steps. First take apart the holder if it comes apart. Use soapy water to clean in all the spac

What is a DIY Compressed Mask & PINCH ME Group

Image
What's a Pinch Me? I belong to a group that reviews samples of products for free and once you create a profile you can begin to receive notice for products. The products can be of food, beauty, health,or lifestyle related. I'll provide my referral link at the end of the article if you'd like to sign up. Everything is free except your time. I recently received a DIY Compressed mask from the Pinch Me group, and frankly I wasn't sure what they were. I decided to share this article after doing research since I was also asked by another person if I had heard of them. Simply put a DIY Compressed mask is an individually wrapped cellulose "paper" facial mask. This mask when soaked in your favorite "facial recipe" expands. One will then very slowly peel it apart and apply it to your face for skin treatment. These facial compressed masks can be purchased individually wrapped in bags of 50 or 100 for relatively cheap; I've seen them for $3.00 up to

Skull Candy Crusher EVO Headphones Review

Image
Skull Candy Crusher EVO Headphones Review As a Lifestyle blogger I often have opportunities to review products. Most times the products are new to the market or are very important to that particular company. Many companies approach bloggers to use and reuse a new product and then to truly review the product; this company wants to make a commitment to putting a good product on the market. Sometimes the products are offered for free or at a severely reduced cost. I have received these headphones at a much reduced price as part of a large reviewing group for a real and true review. Today I am reviewing the Skull Candy Crusher EVO Headphones. I begin with the “unboxing” of the headphones. The headphones were packed very nicely in a sturdy box to protect them against outside damage. Included in the box was a USB cord, the charging cord, a nice carrying/dust bag, direction booklet, and information on the downloadable app Tile. The QR Code was available to scan for questions,

Happy New Year~New Exercise Goals

Photo Created by MaryCaliendoPhoto2021 Happy New Year 2021! It's a new year and there are new goals to set. Every year many people will make resolutions. Many of these will go every year uncompleted because they were set way too high for the person to even obtain to begin with. So why not start 2021 with a clean slate? Restart where you left off in 2020 by making your original goal one for this year, or scrap that entirely by making a smaller goal. Resolve to be Healthy~ This might sound vauge but it is easier than saying I will train to run a full marathon. In other words, for example you want to become more organized, you don't do every single drawer in the whole house in a weekend, but you may take one drawer a day and add that to your already existing schedule. Adding in Healthy Habits Start with getting great sleep, adding in antioxidant tea, drink more water, eating cleaner and also adding in exercise. I have been researching what the best exerc
