Feeling Blue? Add Some Otters

I've heard it over and over again, I feel bored, stressed, compelled to act, fearful, depressed, and even angry.
According to doctors at the CDC.gov social media posts and the opinions of others can make us feel stressed, depressed (blue), and otherwise sad. You sometimes know the poster and you and this person suddenly don't align or you even feel uncomfortable with the person's post. Sometimes you don't even need to interact/react to a post at all to be interlaced with it as it is on your scroll line.
Doctors agree that with all the things that are happening in our world today, it is very easy to become affected by these things. The best suggestion from them regarding social media:
1) limit your exposure to social media itself. Do this by only checking in once in a while and severely limiting the length of time spent on these sites.
2) Change the people you follow. Do this by looking for learning, motivation, and meditative sites. Look for people that inspire you, challenge you, and make you feel calm.
*I like Otters (see picture above). They are sweet and loving, they make cute little sounds and enjoy being around their mate. They seem like joyful little mammals and when I get down (as we all do sometimes) I enjoy watching youtube videos of these sweet little River Otters just playing and swimming and just being Otters. (You know there are more Otter images coming)*
3) While we do not think of the T.V. as being a social network but it is. The T.V. communicates vital news and other worthy interesting first-person stories. But at times, the news and documentary programming is hard to watch. Doctors say do this, turn it all off! Literally, turn off the news, and turn off the noise. Listen to your healthy energy. Learning to meditate has health benefits and you can begin healing right away.
Remember to connect with anyone for inspiration, search for the thing that makes you smile. Remember that #weareallinthistogether
Think of how I will smile at these:
