Just a short follow-up article of whom won the 2021 Women of Worth National Honorary prize (see my prior post for the actual voting for the Women of Worth here: https://beautyisabeastthing.blogspot.com/2021/11/loreal-women-of-worth-award.html
Quick background, every year the L'Oreal Organization recognizes 10 inspirational women that have ideas and motivation to set up non-profit organizations to help their communities. The L'Oreal organization puts them on-line with description of their non-profit and every day people vote. The 10 women that L'Oreal hand-picked will each receive $20,000.00, and mentorship and a national platform for their non-profit. Then after the public voting ends in November, this woman will receive an additional $25,000.00! This is fantastic. The public vote winner and 2021 National Honoree is Lara MacGregor. She started the organization named Hope Scarves. Her non-profit supports people facing cancer through scarves, stories, and research. Congratulations to all the ladies!
